Olapido has been performing quite well in preseason games while performing for the Chinese team, the Guangzhou Loong Lions.

He has been asked about a return to the NBA, and Olapido gave an honest answer.

“I don’t believe in age, bro… I know the world might tell me I’m 33, but I don’t feel 33… If we was in a practice gym or in the back of a dump truck, it don’t matter. As long as there’s a rectangle and people there competing, I’m going to play at the highest level I can. The NBA is where I’m supposed to be at. And if the opportunity presents itself, I’m going to be ready. I’ve been ready, if I’m being honest,” Oladipo said.

Just the other night, Olapido posted 24 points, five assists, and two steals in 26 minutes.

He was showing, again, why he could still make an impact in the NBA, although it isn’t clear if he’ll really be coming back.

Returning to the NBA is a difficult task for players who have moved overseas and taken their talents to a foreign market.

That will be especially true for Olapido, who has suffered numerous injuries over the years.

It might be a tall order, but Olapido still believes he can do it, and he thinks he belongs in the association.

Olapido’s NBA career only lasted ten years, and many fans were heartbroken when injuries kept getting in his way, eventually forcing him out of the league.
