The Dallas Cowboys face a critical situation as they prepare for the 2024 season under new head coach Brian Schottenheimer.

Star edge rusher Micah Parsons has requested a trade.

The All-Pro is entering the final year of his rookie contract and is seeking a lucrative extension.

Schottenheimer recently addressed the ongoing situation, maintaining his confidence that Parsons will remain with the team.

“We’re still planning on moving Micah around and putting him in all the spots that we see him and using him in our fronts the way we want to see it,” Schottenheimer said, via FOX Sports: NFL. “We go about our business every day, we live in the moment, we focus on the moment, and again, like I said, talked to you guys the other day, I’m not gonna get a lot into it, but I expect Micah to be here.”
