Deion Sanders announced on Monday a decision on the 2025 season following his bladder cancer diagnosis.
The legendary NFL star turned college football coach announced on Monday, July 28 that he had been diagnosed with bladder cancer earlier in the year. However, his doctors were able to treat it. Coach Prime underwent surgery to remove part of his bladder and he has been declared cancer free.
Sanders, who starred collegiately at Florida State, is entering Year 3 in Boulder, Colorado. He’s already been through a lot health-wise. Coach Prime dealt with a serious leg issue that nearly resulted in amputation. He ended up losing two toes as a result.
