Roughly two months later, Sanders has walked back his previous comments. While discussing the NFL Draft with Skip Bayless, the Hall of Famer made it known that he won’t interfere with things this April.  

Apparently, Sanders wants Shedeur to figure things out on the fly regardless of where he gets drafted. 

“No, because that’s not God’s will right now,” Sanders said. “I want Shedeur to do what he’s consistently done, excel against all odds. I like the hating, I like the naysaying, I like the ignorance, because it makes us feel better about what we do. It gives him another chip on his shoulder.”
