Discover the Hidden Secret Behind the Shocking Twist in Today’s Biggest Story!

Can you imagine a running back putting up numbers that outshine not just one, but 13 entire NFL teams? Jonathan Taylor isn’t just dominating the 2025 season—he’s rewriting the rulebook on what it means to carry this league on your shoulders. While the Colts finally seem to have their quarterback after years of searching, it’s Taylor who’s been the real game-changer, lighting up scoreboards with five games of three or more touchdowns. It’s baffling, really, how a backfield beast like him hasn’t stolen more MVP thunder—especially when he’s outpacing some quarterbacks in touchdowns and yardage. So, here’s a thought: could Taylor be the spark that finally ends the long drought of running backs winning the league’s most coveted honor? If the rest of the season unfolds anything like this, betting against him might just be the biggest gamble on the board.

The Indianapolis Colts may have found their quarterback. For the first time since Andrew Luck suddenly decided to retire, they have a reliable player running the offense.

However, as much credit as Daniel Jones deserves, stats show how running back Jonathan Taylor is dominating this season.

Taylor has more games with at least three touchdowns (five) than 13 NFL teams.

He’s outscored the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos, Minnesota Vikings, New York Giants, Los Angeles Chargers, New York Jets, Houston Texans, San Francisco 49ers, Las Vegas Raiders, New Orleans Saints, Cleveland Browns and Tennessee Titans in that regard.

Taylor is leading the league in yards from scrimmage and touchdowns. His 15 rushing touchdowns are more than some quarterbacks have in the air.

It’s a shame that running backs don’t get any true consideration for NFL MVP. Taylor has arguably been the most valuable player in the league this season.

Even if he were to sit out the remainder of the schedule, he’s probably already done enough to at least be in the mix for Offensive Player of the Year. Yet, he clearly deserves an even bigger honor.

It’s been over a decade since a running back won MVP. Taylor is making NFL history, and if he keeps this up for the remainder of the season, it will be tough for voters not to end that streak and give him the award.
