May will take on Dan Hurley and the UConn Huskies in the national championship on Monday after overpowering Arizona in the Final Four on Saturday. UConn is looking to win its third title in four seasons.
May, 49, has coached the Wolverines for the past two seasons, leading the team to a 63-13 overall record and 33-7 in the Big Ten. After leading the team to a Big Ten tournament title and a Sweet 16 appearance, May has guided the Wolverines to a 36-3 record and a national championship appearance for the first time since 2018.
