Texas, led by quarterback Arch Manning, is considered to be the national title favorite. The Longhorns are coming off of a College Football Playoff semifinal appearance in 2024-25. Texas fell to Ohio State in the College Football Playoff at the Cotton Bowl.
Now, the Steve Sarkisian-coached team will look to take down Ohio State in Week 1 and go on to be a legitimate national title frontrunner throughout the 2025 college football regular season.
Georgia, meanwhile, will look to bounce back from a disappointing 2024 season. The Bulldogs made the College Football Playoff but didn’t go very far.
