ESPN is giving Texas a 37.7 percent chance to reach the national title game, while it’s giving Georgia a 30.0 percent chance to reach the national title game.
The Big Ten has won the past two national championships, as Ohio State took down Notre Dame this past January and Michigan took down Washington the season prior to that. It’s been three years since the SEC won the national title.
However, ESPN’s model believes that will change this year. The Worldwide Leader in Sports’ computer model believes that we’ll get an All-SEC national title game in January of 2026.
