“Ex-NFL Star Jon Kitna’s Son Makes Shocking College Football Transfer”
According to On3’s Pete Nakos, Bowling Green quarterback JT Kitna entered the portal after enrolling in the school in January. He went through spring practice wth the program before coming to this decision.
Bowling Green has a new coach for the 2025 season after Scot Loeffler left for the Philadelphia Eagles after they won Super Bowl LIX. Eddie George took over for Loeffler after the school ran a national search for its next head coach.
JT Kitna is the son of former NFL quarterback Jon Kitna, who played in the NFL from 1997-2011. He played for the Seattle Seahawks, Cincinnati Bengals, Detroit Lions, and Dallas Cowboys before retiring from the league.
