Corso rose to prominence as a college football coach at Louisville and Indiana, leading both programs to bowl games during his 15 years as a head coach.Â
Though he never beat the Buckeyes during his 10 years as head coach of the Hoosiers, he did lead Indiana to their first-ever bowl win in 1979. His 41 wins with the team still ranks third in school history.
