According to FOX 7 Austin, Texas offensive lineman Nick Brooks was arrested this past Sunday after he was caught going 47 miles per hour in a 30 mph zone. Brooks reportedly told the arresting officer that he had been at a 21-and-up club that “makes exceptions” for Texas football players.
Brooks said that he was taking “two prospective players” to the strip club afterwards.
The Texas offensive lineman admitted to smoking a marijuana vape pen and a blunt before getting into his car. He failed a sobriety test and reportedly had body tremors that were noticeable to the officer when they asked him to stand on one leg.
