FAMU’s Quinn Gray and Rattlers Set to Dominate HBCU Legacy Bowl – What Unexpected Twist Could Redefine Their Legacy?

Both were Southwestern Athletic Conference selections during their time at FAMU.

They will play on Team Robinson, named after revered Grambling State head coach Eddie Robinson. Team Robinson comprises players from SWAC and Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference schools.

Gray will coach Team Robinson alongside Prairie View A&M’s Tremaine Jackson.

The new FAMU head coach was actually picked for the HBCU Legacy Bowl for his historic final season leading the Albany State Golden Rams. Albany State went 12-2, its most wins in a single season, won the SIAC title, reached the NCAA Division II quarterfinals, and was named the Black College Football National Champions for Division II.
