FPL Shockwaves: Are Mbeumo and Timber Set for a Sudden Drop Ahead of GW32?

FPL gameweek 32 is time to get ruthless…

FPL gameweek 32 is where the season really starts to split. The chips are flying, the blanks and doubles are getting louder, and every transfer now has to count for more than just one week. If you’re wildcarding, this is the perfect moment to cut loose the players who no longer fit the plan and make room for stronger routes into the run-in. Here are five names I’d be comfortable moving on this week.

Table of Contents

Raúl Jiménez (6.2m)

Jiménez is one of those picks that looks fine on paper until you actually break it down. He’s still got a fixture in blank Gameweek 34, which is useful, but I’d still be looking to move him on. The run isn’t pretty: Liverpool first, then Brentford, Aston Villa and Arsenal. That’s a rough stretch for any forward, especially one whose underlying data isn’t doing much to excite you. Add in the constant chance of rotation and it becomes an easy decision. There are simply better ways to spend your budget up front, and Jimenez feels like one of the first forward spots I’d be happy to upgrade.
