The offer follows two of the program’s top transfer receiver targets committing elsewhere, including former Michigan and West Georgia wideout Karmello English, who visited Madison, Wisconsin, early last week.Crowdus is in the portal after one year at Hawaii. He originally began his career at Kentucky, where he signed as a four-star recruit, ranked specifically as the No. 307 player in the class of 2021 and the No. 49 wide receiver. After redshirting as a true freshman, the 5-foot-10 receiver appeared in 10 games in 2022, catching four passes for 82 yards. He held a similar role as a redshirt sophomore in 2023, appearing in 10 games, primarily on special teams.

Wisconsin football extended an offer to Hawaii transfer wide receiver Dekel Crowdus on Saturday.According to his X account, Crowdus has also received offers from Coastal Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas State and Charlotte. He was a late entry into the portal (April 25) and appears to be in the early stages of his transfer recruitment.

Crowdus then excelled in his one season at Hawaii. He finished the campaign with 16 catches, 402 receiving yards, 25.1 yards-per-reception and four touchdowns.
