Giants’ Strategic Mastery Leaves Sultanes Scrambling for Answers
Here we are, just a hair shy of the 2026 MLB season kickoff, and the San Francisco Giants took to the field Monday night at Oracle Park for their second-to-last spring tune-up, facing off against Sultanes de Monterrey. This game, hardly a crystal ball into the season, still gave us plenty to ponder despite the predictable win—10 to 2, in favor of the Giants. The squad showed up with vigor and laser focus ; most importantly, the bullpen—the ever-watchful question in fans’ minds—delivered with impressive steadiness. Smooth operations all around on game day, too, which, between you and me, is exactly what these homestead scrimmages are all about.
