Erling Haaland insisted that the Premier League title race is “not over until it’s over” following Manchester City’s late win over Liverpool.
After Dominik Szoboszlai’s brilliant free-kick put Liverpool ahead at Anfield, Haaland assisted Bernardo Silva’s equaliser before scoring the winner from the penalty spot.
Timed at 92:42, Haaland’s penalty for City was the latest winning goal by a visiting team at Anfield in the Premier League on record (since 2006-07).
City, meanwhile, achieved a league double over Liverpool for the first time since 1936-37, with this just the sixth time they have ever done so against the Reds.
