“Heartache on the Field: Brian Kelly’s Emotional Tribute to LSU’s Rising Star Kyren Lacy”
According to Harris County authorities, Lacy discharged a firearm into the ground during an argument on Saturday night. After arriving on the scene, they pursued the former LSU star in a chase that ended with him crashing.Â
The police said Lacy died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
On Tuesday afternoon, LSU football coach Brian Kelly finally commented on this devastating situation.Â
“Kyren was a bright star,” Kelly said. “He had an incredible personality. I’ll remember him as somebody that had a love for the game, a love for being a Tiger and was a guy that played with great emotion.”Â
