His third youngest, Peter, travels on the road with him to various college football and NFL games. His late dog, Ben, used to have that privilege.Â
On Sunday, a non-dog lover took issue with Herbstreit’s consistent dog posts on social media.
“Kirk, why do you have a childlike obsession with dogs? It’s Father’s Day, you have children, but you’re still doing this strange dog bit. You’re like 50,” one fan wrote.
