10. 1901 Pittsburgh Pirates (2.10)
At the start of the modern era, two years before the first World Series, there was the 1901 Pirates. Left fielder/manager Fred Clarke guided the Buccos to the best record in the majors at 90-49 and the first of three straight National League pennants. Honus Wagner, known as the Flying Dutchman, hit .353 with a league-best 126 RBIs and 49 stolen bases in his second year with the Pirates.
