How USC and Lincoln Riley Pulled Off a Stunning Upset in 4-Star TE Recruitment Battle
USC football delivered one big offseason win already by flipping four-star tackle Drew Fielder from Oregon. Now head coach Lincoln Riley and company just beat out Michigan and Texas A&M for their latest talent Saturday.
The Trojans landed tight end Jace Cannon from Junipero Serra High of San Mateo, which adds a new four-star for Riley. Cannon confirmed his decision with Hayes Fawcett of On3/Rivals, even blurting out “Fight on” in his text.
Cannon adds to what’s currently the No. 4 College Football Recruiting class by On3/Rivals. USC ranks higher by 247Sports in landing at No. 3. Of course, Trojan fans know USC claimed the title of top 2026 recruiting class last year.
