Just this week, Illinois revealed that public season tickets for men’s basketball vanished into eager hands once again, marking the second consecutive sellout. Not too long ago, the student tickets disappeared in a flash—18 minutes flat, no less! The season’s kickoff is set for Monday, November 3rd, when the Illini take on Jackson State, but before that, the team will warm up with an exhibition clash against Illinois State on Sunday, October 19th. Brad Underwood has a good thing going in Champaign — and the fans are well aware.

On Wednesday, Illinois announced that men’s basketball public season tickets sold out for the second straight season.

Earlier this month, the program announced that it sold out of student season tickets — in just 18 minutes.

Opening night this season is Monday, Nov. 3 vs. Jackson State. The Illini will host Illinois State in an exhibition on Sunday, Oct. 19.
