Still, I think I had him in the right spot at draft time as his game had some practical flaws and quirks that should have kept him out of the top 10. He’s still going to be an offensively inclined five-on-five contributor and power-play option, but I wonder if he’ll have to be moved to realize his full potential now that Rinzel and Levshunov appear in line to run the Blackhawks’ power plays. He needs to develop more of an identity and get back to playing freer as well.
