“The Jazz have a high asking price for Kessler. One source told Lakers Daily that the Lakers would have to part ways with Austin Reaves and multiple first-round picks to acquire Kessler, who projects to be a great fit next to Doncic and LeBron James since he’s a skilled lob threat and excellent rim protector,” Lakers Daily reported.

The Lakers would definitely love to have Kessler in their lineup, but they may not be willing to pay this much.
As mentioned, he would be a great fit alongside Luka Doncic and LeBron James, and he could produce points as well as protect the basket.
But the idea of cutting ties with Austin Reaves and putting up multiple draft picks could be daunting to the Lakers.
Over the last few years, the Jazz have shown an unwavering commitment to demanding as much as they want in trades.
They ask for a lot, and they stick by that.
If other teams aren’t able to work with that, the Jazz are more than happy to sit on their hands and not do a thing.
That may be the case, at least right now, with the Lakers and Kessler.
