Inside the Locker Room: Former Packers Defender Reveals Shocking Truth About Chasing Jordan Love

So here we are, gearing up for yet another Sunday Night Football showdown, and the story isn’t just about Micah Parsons strutting back into Dallas territory—though, honestly, that alone could headline the week. But what about Kenny Clark? Yes, that Kenny Clark, the former Packers’ defensive cornerstone now donning the Cowboys’ stars and stripes, eager and grinning ear to ear at the thought of clobbering his old QB, Jordan Love. I mean, who doesn’t love a bit of homegrown revenge served up on primetime? With the Packers favored by seven points, it almost smells like another one-sided affair. But hey, in this unpredictable league, can we really count out a hungry defender itching to make a statement? Let’s dive into the drama, the trades, and the tension crackling beneath the helmets—because this one’s about more than just stats; it’s personal.

When the Green Bay Packers traded for Micah Parsons ahead of the 2025 season, the majority of the discourse about the trade was centered around him and how the Packers pulled off the move of the century.

Adding a player of Parsons’ caliber doesn’t happen often in the NFL, especially when they are young and heading into the peak of their career.

Parsons was, by and large, the most impactful player in the trade, which is why he’s gotten a lot of attention, but Kenny Clark was also involved in the deal, heading to Dallas alongside two first-round picks.

He was a great defender for the Packers during his time with the organization, and he recently expressed his excitement to face his former team on Sunday Night Football in an article on the NFL website.

“Yeah, you get to hit now,” Clark said when picturing putting a hit on his former QB, and wearing a massive smile during his answer. “I’m excited, bro. I’m excited. It’s been a long time coming and it’s definitely something I’ve been thinking about since I got traded here. I’m excited to go.”

So much of the conversation about this upcoming Sunday Night Football has been around Parsons’ return to Dallas, and rightfully so, but Clark also has a revenge game, of sorts.

He’s excited to go against his former team and show them what he can do, hopefully breaking through the offensive line and getting to Jordan Love in the process.

The Packers are seven-point favorites in this game, which could indicate a blowout similar to the last time these two teams met, but anything can happen in this league, especially if a player like Clark has a monster showing in the stat sheet.
