We’re going to swing on skill here and Lee’s a dynamic on-puck talent with one of the best sets of hands in the draft. He has to get quicker but we believe he’s not done developing or growing and his skill level is hard for us in Carolina to find when we’re always drafting so late. We can also afford to give him the time he needs at Michigan State, where he’ll be in good hands (pun intended) under a great coaching staff. They don’t call him The Wizard for nothing. —
