The Blackhawks don’t have many forwards like Martone in their prospect pool. Whether it’s been Connor Bedard, Frank Nazar, Oliver Moore, Roman Kantserov, Nick Lardis or others, the Blackhawks have drafted a lot of skilled forwards in the early rounds in recent years, but they haven’t taken a lot of size.
