Is Manchester United’s Revival Real? Ruben Amorim’s Side Stuns with Another Stunning Victory Over Bournemouth
Manchester United’s promising pre-season continued last night with boss Ruben Amorim admitting they looked like a “different team” after sweeping past Bournemouth 4-1 in Chicago.
Following on from the weekend victory over West Ham, United again looked sharp against the Cherries and dominated throughout. Goals from Rasmus Hojlund and Patrick Dorgu gave them a comfortable half-time lead with Amad Diallo and Ethan Williams adding the gloss after the break.
A Matthijs de Ligt own goal with two minutes to go offered Bournemouth a consolation but that did little to deter the growing sense that the United players are finally getting to grips with Amorim’s philosophy.
