Walker broke out with 10 sacks in 2023, and he followed that second-year surge with 10.5 additional sacks in 2024.
In general, he’s been durable. He’s missed just five games so far, and he’s started 60 of the 63 games he’s played in. The Jaguars picked up his fifth-year option last offseason, and now second-year general manager James Gladstone has made Walker the 12th-highest-paid edge rusher, at least in terms of annual salary. He’s in the same ballpark as his teammate, Josh Hines-Allen ($28.25 million) and the Baltimore Ravens’ Trey Hendrickson ($28 million).
