During the first game of the playoffs, Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics injured his wrist, and fans were worried that his future in the postseason could be in doubt.

Instead, Tatum has had an incredible run through the Orlando Magic and has quite literally made history.

As pointed out by Celtics Stats, Tatum is just the second Celtic to score 35+ points in three straight playoff games.

The first Boston player to achieve that was none other than the iconic Larry Bird.

In Game 3 against the Magic, Tatum posted 36 points, followed by 37 in Game 4, and finally 35 in Game 5.

His series against Orlando is over, but Tatum is hoping to keep his momentum going.

The Celtics are the reigning champions, and they have every intention of earning back-to-back titles.

Despite the fact that they won it all last year, some people said they don’t have what it takes this year.

And although Tatum has been great since the start of 2024-25, critics have claimed that he still isn’t one of the best players in the league.

But no one will be able to question him if he keeps playing like this and if his Celtics become champions again.

The Celtics were banged up during their series against the Magic, but they walked away victorious.

Things are about to get tougher in the next round, and the Celtics are ready for that.

Tatum looks tuned in and engaged, ready to play his heart out and consistently put up big numbers.

Multiple games with 30+ points are impressive, but this might just be the start of what Tatum can achieve in the postseason.
