Jets’ WR2 Mystery Solved? Insider Drops Bombshell Favorite You Won’t Expect!
The New York Jets are kicking the tires on a new era.
There will be a new quarterback and a new offense.
As such, some positions might be up for grabs.
Garrett Wilson will continue to be the undisputed WR1 and alpha pass-catcher, but there are still some questions about the rest of the offense.
According to ESPN insider Rich Cimini, former Detroit Lions WR Josh Reynolds is the early favorite to be the WR2 right now.
Moreover, that also opens the door for Allen Lazard to be on the move at some point:
“Josh Reynolds is the clear-cut favorite for the WR2 job, ahead of Allen Lazard, whose name will continue to circulate in trade rumors now that Rodgers has landed with the Steelers. If the Jets decide to move Lazard — a big if — it probably wouldn’t be until the end of the preseason. But only if they’re comfortable with their receiver depth,” Cimini wrote.
