This is not the time for James to get hurt, so this is very good news for all Lakers fans.
James has averaged 24.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 8.2 assists per game this season, shooting 51.3 percent from the field.
Even at 40 years old, he is still hugely consequential for the Lakers, and they want him in great shape for the weeks ahead.
Thankfully for James, the team doesn’t live or die based on him, especially now that they have Luka Doncic.
