On Saturday, the sides have decided to part ways. Tennessee is moving on from Iamaleava, who will enter the transfer portal according to ESPN’s Chris Low.
ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported that Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel informed the team of Iamaleava’s status on Saturday, the same day that the Volunteers will play their annual spring game.
“It’s the state of college football. At the end of the day, no one is ever bigger than the program. That includes me, too,” Heupel said on Saturday, per Vol Network.
