Julian Edelman Drops Surprising Truth About Ravens, Silencing Critics Instantly
Ever wonder how a team that looks more battered than a ship in a storm manages to keep the faith? The Baltimore Ravens, bless their weary souls, have stumbled out of the gate this season like a boxer who’s already taken a few too many hits — defense bruised, Derrick Henry uncharacteristically fumble-prone, and to top it off, Lamar Jackson sidelined with a soft-tissue injury. Yet, out there in the swirling speculation, Julian Edelman throws cold water on the panic — reminding us that slow starts have been their pesky habit all along. Is this just another blip on the Ravens’ radar, or a harbinger of deeper trouble? As they prepare to face a Texans squad equally flailing but still dangerous, the question lingers: can Baltimore defy the odds and claw their way back before the season slips away?

To say that the Baltimore Ravens haven’t had the start of the season they hoped for would be a massive understatement.
John Harbaugh’s team is banged up on defense, and they haven’t been able to get any stops or defensive momentum whatsoever.
Derrick Henry has looked like a shell of himself in the last three weeks, and he’s had two costly late-game fumbles.
To add insult to injury – literally – Lamar Jackson will miss at least a couple of weeks with a soft-tissue injury.
But despite all that, Julian Edelman still isn’t worried about the Ravens.
Talking on FOX, the former Super Bowl champion shared his honest thoughts on John Harbaugh’s team ahead of their Week 5 matchup with the Houston Texans:
How surprised are you that the Baltimore Ravens are 1-3 to start the season?@Edelman11 | @CharlesWoodson pic.twitter.com/mr3z1M1lxu

As things stand now, the Texans are two-point road favorites, and that type of turnaround by oddsmakers speaks volumes about Jackson’s impact.
DeMeco Ryans’ team has won just one game this season, and they have one of the worst – if not the worst – offensive lines in all of football.
Still, they’re defensively sound, and they will make sure to put up plenty of pressure on Cooper Rush when he’s out there.
The Ravens are just 1-3 for the season, and they desperately need to gain some momentum and pick up wins before it’s too late.
And while being at home and facing another struggling team with a subpar offense might be just what the doctor ordered, it won’t be easy to get it down without their best player on the field.
