Kirk Herbstreit’s Family Celebrates Unexpected News That Has Everyone Talking Wednesday
Chase Herbstreit, the youngest son of the ESPN college football analyst, is officially a college football quarterback. The youngest son of Kirk and Alison Herbstreit played high school football at St. Xavier in Cincinnati. He committed to the Michigan Wolverines back in December.
Many criticized the Herbstreit family for allowing one of their own to play for Michigan – Kirk played for Ohio State and his dad, Jim, played and coached for the Buckeyes – but it turns out that Ryan Day’s program wasn’t too interested in the younger Chase.
