Kirk Herbstreit’s Unexpected Reply to Angry Fan Is Winning Over College Football Fans Everywhere

Herbstreit, the face of ESPN’s college football coverage, is a busy man these days – especially come football season. The former Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback not only covers college football for ESPN, but he does the NFL for Amazon Prime, too, working the Thursday Night Football games. 

Since he’s so busy and away from his family so much during football season, Herbstreit likes to bring one of his golden retrievers on the road with him. Herbstreit started bringing his oldest golden retriever, Ben, on the road with him a couple of seasons ago. Unfortunately, Ben passed away last year. So, the baton was handed down to the youngest golden retriever at the time, Peter.
