Ibrahima Konate’s contract with Liverpool is set to expire at the end of this season. Over the last year or so, Konate has been linked with Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, and more recently, the Saudi Pro League.
According to The Athletic, the reigning Premier League champions have been in discussions with the French centre-back over a new deal since late 2024, which means that around 18 months of conversations between the representatives of the player and the club have failed to produce results.
