Konate’s Unexpected Twist: Is a Shocking Liverpool Exit Really Off the Table?
Konate, who has represented France on 27 occasions so far and should be one of their key players at the upcoming World Cup, has made a total of 173 appearances in a Liverpool shirt in all competitions, scoring seven goals and assisting four more. His trophy collection consists of two League Cups, one FA Cup, one Community Shield, and the last (to date) but certainly not least, the 2024/25 Premier League title.
Liverpool are hopeful and even reasonably confident of Konate signing a new deal and staying put. But nothing has been agreed yet, and while the links to Real Madrid and PSG seem to have faded a bit recently, there surely are top European clubs on the alert, monitoring the situation closely; possibly even whispering tempting words in his ear.
