
Legendary High School Football Coach’s Untold Secrets Revealed After Shocking Death at 90
A legendary high school football coach has passed away at 90 years old this week.
Monte Jack Driskel, a longtime coach at Brazos Valley in Texas, has died. He played college basketball at Sam Houston State University, where he was later inducted into the school’s hall of fame. He was ultimately inducted into the Texas High School Coaches Hall of Fame in 1998, too.
The longtime high school football coach went 292-82-9. He coached at Groveton, Crockett, Sam Houston and Lovelady.Â
