According to Jake Weinbach, Doncic is “widely expected to sign a long-term contract extension with the Lakers this weekend.”
“Doncic, who has been viewed as the face of the franchise in L.A. since arriving last February, becomes eligible to sign a four-year, $229M max extension tomorrow,” Weinbach wrote on Friday.
