There’s frustration building in Chicago as the rebuild stretches on. They’ll certainly be in the mix with a massive bid, and Connor Bedard gives them one foundational piece to play with. The Blackhawks are still years away from making the playoffs, so they don’t have to worry about the cap hit initially, which could allow them to put a $15 million-plus offer on the table without breaking a sweat.
