Mysterious Death of Promising College Football Star Shakes Sports World
South Dakota State confirmed Wednesday night that running back Nate White has died. He was only 20 years old.Â
White started his college career at Wisconsin before transferring to South Dakota State. During the fall of 2024, he switched positions from wide receiver to running back. After not having much of a role in Luke Fickell’s offense, he decided to join the Jackrabbits.Â
Unfortunately, White never had the chance to show what he can do in a new offense.Â
