“He never folded one time and never wavered,” Colorado team trainer Lauren Askevold said at his press conference on Monday. “You couldn’t ask for a better patient because he wants to get up and get going right. Sanders, who lost 25 pounds during the cancer battle, added: “It was dynamic. It was tough. It wasn’t a cakewalk. It wasn’t easy. That was a fight, but we made it.”

While Coach Prime didn’t tell two of his sons about the cancer battle – he wanted to let Shedeur and Shilo, who are both in the NFL, focus on their playing careers – he had his rumored girlfriend right by his side.
