Notre Dame confirmed the injury.

“Sophomore OL Charles Jagusah was injured in a UTV accident in Wyoming on July 5,” a statement from Fighting Irish Media, ND’s sports information department, confirmed. “He has undergone surgery to repair a fracture of his left humerus. The initial prognosis is favorable, and he will return to campus early this week for further evaluation and continued care.”

Jagusah was projected to be one of Notre Dame’s top offensive players in 2025. He played in relief at guard in the Orange Bowl win over Penn State and started at tackle in the national title loss to Ohio State. One of Notre Dame’s coaches has compared him to former top NFL Draft pick Will Campbell.
