NBA Insider Drops Surprise Prediction: Which 2 Stars Are Set to Dominate This Season?

Is it just me, or does the upcoming NBA season already feel like a marathon with two sprinters chained to the front? Giannis Antetokounmpo and Devin Booker—two players who’ve pulled off the rare feat of averaging over 25 points per game for seven straight seasons—are gearing up to carry a colossal offensive load once again. But here’s the kicker: with the Bucks waving goodbye to Damian Lillard and the Suns seeing Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal exit stage left, these guys aren’t just scoring stars—they’re the keystones holding their teams together. It’s a tall order, and while their stat sheets might shine, one can’t help but wonder if this heavy workload signals deeper struggles. Buckle up, because this season promises both fireworks and formidable pressures in equal measure.

It’s going to be an exhausting and competitive season for numerous NBA players, but two of them will have a larger workload than others.

Evan Sidery noted that only two players have averaged 25+ points per game consecutively over the past seven seasons.

Those players are Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks and Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns.

Both of them are “poised to carry massive offensive usage once again this year to keep those streaks going.”

There is no doubt that Antetokounmpo and Booker will be pushed hard in the upcoming season.

They will both be the most important members of their teams and the strongest offensive players.

The Bucks and Suns will center all of their offensive plans around these two, and they are usually up to the challenge.

There’s a chance that Antetokounmpo and Booker will see their numbers tick up in 2025-26, but that may not be a great thing.

They could be scoring a lot, but it will be because the Bucks and Suns have limited offensive options.

Milwaukee lost Damian Lillard, and Phoenix said goodbye to both Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal.

They need Antetokounmpo and Booker more than ever before.

Their stat sheets will look impressive, but they might be carrying their teams.

Both of these players have been in this position before, and they have accepted the responsibility.

They’re aiming for another season with 25+ points per game, but they want more than that, too.

They need to see their teams succeed, or else there will be many questions about the future.
