Nebraska's Surprise Surge: How Their Stunning Win Over MS Is Shaking Up the Week 6 US LBM Coaches Poll

The Nebraska Cornhuskers are stirring the pot once again on the college football scene, snagging votes in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll after a solid win against Michigan State. Sitting pretty at 4-1, their 38-27 triumph was anything but a layup, pulling in nearly 87,000 fans under Memorial Stadium’s bright lights. What’s really interesting is how this momentum reflects in the polls—Nebraska’s racking up 17 points, slotting right between UNLV and TCU, signaling some serious respect from the coaching ranks. And here’s a fun twist: Matt Rhule, Nebraska’s head coach, isn’t just leading on the field; he’s also casting votes behind the scenes as part of the US LBM Board of Coaches this season. Their next test? A road trip to face the Maryland Terrapins, promising another thrilling chapter in what’s shaping up to be an electrifying season. The Cornhuskers are back in the conversation, and trust me, this isn’t something you want to miss. LEARN MORE
