"NFL Team Shocks Fans by Cutting Ex-Ohio State Star: What Went Wrong?"

The Tennessee Titans have released offensive lineman Nicholas Petit-Frere. The Titans drafted Petit-Frere in the third round back in 2022 out of Ohio State. During his time with the Buckeyes, Petit-Frere earned All-Big Ten and All-American honors.

He played in 34 games for Tennessee over three seasons, making 28 starts. Petit-Frere struggled in 2024, allowing 10 sacks. He was also assessed 10 penalties during the season.

The Titans have the No. 1 overall pick in next week’s draft, and they have seven additional picks barring any trades. Many mock drafts expect them to select Miami quarterback Cam Ward with the first overall pick, but other top players like Abdul Carter and Travis Hunter are options as well.
