Philly loses a Pro Bowl lineman
Philadelphia Eagles Pro Bowl guard Landon Dickerson will have a “minor procedure” done to repair a meniscus injury in his right knee, according to sources who spoke to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Though he will be considered week-to-week with the injury, sources said that Dickerson is hoping to play in the Eagles’ regular-season opener against the Dallas Cowboys on September 4th.
Dickerson suffered the injury during the team’s open practice on Saturday night. He was eventually helped off the field and carted to the locker room, effectively ending his night and preseason.
