Saad made a big bet on himself in late January, walking away from more than $5 million in guaranteed salary to mutually terminate a contract with St. Louis before ultimately signing for much less with Vegas. His results with the Golden Knights were so-so. Still, Saad is clearly a motivated athlete who plays a power game and can chip in with some offense.
