Nick Saban Drops Unexpected Revelation About Ohio State That Has Everyone Talking
But even though Saban has had some of his toughest games against the Buckeyes, he may have softened on the program in recent years. Lest we forget, Saban was once an assistant at Ohio State in the early-1980s.
Saban recently attended a golf tournament alongside Ohio State head coach Ryan Day and was asked by reporter Stephanie Otey about his relationship with the Buckeyes head coach. He made it clear that he and Day are good friends and that he even has “a little Buckeye in me.”
“Ryan and I are pretty good friends. It was nice to see him win the national championship last year. I used to coach at Ohio State so I got a little Buckeye in me. So it’s great (to be with Day),” Saban said.
