The Alabama legend made it clear that he has a great deal of respect for Barkley. In fact, he said the Hall of Famer is someone he looks up to.
“I’ve always looked up to Charles,” Saban said, via On3. “Thought he was a great player, but he does a great job professionally in terms of media, which you all are a part of. I certainly respect the fact that he comes home and supports the community like he does. So, that’s something I’m looking forward to.”
There’s a good chance Barkley and Saban will become teammates at ESPN in 2026, albeit the odds of them being on TV at the same time are pretty low.
